Image Entertainment has set the Malayasian action epic Clash of Empires (also known as The Malay Chronicles: Bloodlines) for a Blu-ray release on September 6th.
Set in 120 A.D., the film centers on Merong (Stephen Rahman-Hughes), a warrior who is tasked with guiding a Roman prince across a dangerous region of Asia ruled by the Han Dynasty. The internationally cast martial arts adventure also stars Gavin Stenhouse, Jing Lusi, Rahim Razali, Craig Robert Fong and Ummi Nazeera.
Clash of Empires will be presented in DTS Master Audio 5.1 with a 1:78:1 aspect ratio. The film's theatrical trailer will be included as a special feature. Look for the release to hit retail on September 6th with a SRP of $29.97. Pre-orders are now up on Amazon.
