Criterion has teased yet another title from their upcoming batch of November releases. Earlier today, the distributor released a hint on their Facebook page that resembles a prop from Wes Anderson's 1998 film Rushmore.
Anderson's sophomore film, which stars Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman, was previously released on DVD by Criterion back in 2000 (Spine #65) and is certainly due for a Blu-ray re-release. The distributor has already brought the director's first film, Bottle Rocket, and his 2007 effort The Darjeeling Limited to Blu-ray.
This hint follows pre-announcements made earlier in the week for Jean Renoir's The Rules of the Game and Krzysztof Kieślowski's Three Colors trilogy. Expect a full detailing of these releases when Criterion unveils their November slate on Monday.
