Warner Bros. and Viz Media have announced the Blu-ray release of Bleach The Movie: Fade to Black. The 2008 anime feature is the third film to be based on Japanese manga created by Noriaki Kubo. It was directed by Noriyuki Abe, who also directs the anime series.
Fade to Black has the series' main character, Ichigo Kurosaki (a Soul Reaper) on an adventure to find and rescue Rukia, a girl who has had her memory erased by strange intruders.
Bonus materials will include production sketches used in the development of the animated film. The release, which features a dubbed English audio track, will hit retail on November 15th with a SRP of $24.98.
