Criterion fans finally received evidence that Krzysztof Kieślowski's famed Three Colors trilogy: Blue (1993), White (1994) and Red (1994) will debut on Blu-ray in the near future when the distributor teased snippets of the cover art via Facebook.
Criterion posted earlier today a cropped image of what closely resembles Irene Jacob's face from the original poster for Red. Another image posted yesterday revealed Julie Delpy's hand from a still used for White and a third image posted earlier this week was identified as a screen capture from Blue.
Kieślowski's Three Colors trilogy, along with The Decalogoue, are considered masterworks from the well respected Polish director. Criterion previously released his 1991 feature The Double Life of Veronique on Blu-ray earlier this year.
While no official announcement from Criterion has been made, expect to hear a confirmation when the distributor reveals their November slate next week. Below are the preview images released by Criterion.
