David Lynch's crime thriller
Blue Velvet has received a new release date in France. According to preliminary information sent to online retailers, Fox Pathé Europa will release the film as a combo pack (Blu-ray/DVD) on October 5th. Exact technical specs and region coding status, however, are unknown at the moment.
France has already seen Blu-ray releases for a number of David Lynch's films:
Mulholland Drive,
Wild at Heart,
The Elephant Man,
Lost Highway,
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and
DUNE. The American director's groundbreaking film debut
Eraserhead is also set to be released on Blu-ray in Australia on September 1.
