In anticipation of the September 6th Blu-ray debut of Scarface, Universal Studios and Fathom Events are planning one night only screenings of Brian De Palma's revered gangster film. More than 475 theaters nationwide will host the "Scarface Special Event" on August 31st at 7:30 P.M. local time.
The screenings will act as preview to the newly remastered version of the film that will be featured on the Scarface Limited Edition Steelbook and Limited Edition Gift Set Blu-rays. A new retrospective featurette on the film will also be shown.
Tickets for the event are set to go on sale Monday August, 1st. However, liking Scarface's Facebook page will allow you to pre-order tickets and determine if there will be a screening held near you. For more info, head over to NCM Fathom.
