In an early announcement to retailers, the Canadian branch of MGM has revealed that it plans to release on Blu-ray Sam Peckinpah's legendary
Straw Dogs (1971), starring Dustin Hoffman, Susan George, and Peter Vaughan. Technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary street date announced by the studio is September 6th.
