British distributors Metrodome Video are set to release on Blu-ray Han Sanping and Huang Jianxin's
The Founding of a Republic (2009). The film, which was shot to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party founding of China, boasts an impressive cast -- most notably Jet Li, Andy Lau, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Zhang Ziyi, Jackie Chan, Stephen Chow and Donnie Yen. Street date is August 29th.
