Warner Bros. Home Video has announced the release of the second and third installments of the Final Destination horror franchise on Blu-ray. Final Destination 2 and Final Destination 3 will come individually packaged on August 30th with a SRP of $19.99 each.
Final Destination 2 hit theaters back in 2003 and featured the premonition of a horrific freeway car wreck by Kimberly Corman (played by A.J. Cook). The film brought back director David R. Ellis and starred Ali Larter, Michael Landes and Jonathan Cherry. The success of Final Destination 2 paved the way for a third film, this one featuring a disaster on a theme park roller coaster ride. It starred Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ryan Merriman, Kris Lemche and Alexz Johnson.
Special features, technical specifications and cover art for Final Destination 2 and Final Destination 3 have yet to be released.
