Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D

Disney has finally detailed the various home video releases of their summer blockbuster, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The film, which stars Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz, will hit Blu-ray in a 5-disc Limited Edition Combo Pack that includes Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy versions, as well as an additional Blu-ray disc for special features. A standard Blu-ray and DVD set has also been announced, but will omit various bonus features included on the 5-disc set. As always, this will be available in either Blu-ray or DVD packaging. The Limited Edition 5-disc package will hit retailers with a SRP of $49.99 while the 2-disc set has been priced at $39.99.
Disney will also make the film available via High Definition Movie Download. This has been priced at
$39.99 and will include the Bloopers of the Caribbean, Deleted and Extended Scenes with Intros by director Rob Marshall and LEGO Animated Shorts: Captain Jack's Brick Tales special features. The 3D download version has been priced at $49.99.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will also debut in the 15-disc, 4-movie Collection, which is detailed here.
The film will be presented in DTS HD Master Audio 7.1 with a 2:40:1 aspect ratio. Special features for the Blu-ray include:
