20th Century Fox will add three titles to its 3D Blu-ray catalog on August 30th. These include the two previously released films,
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the yet-to-be-released
Rio.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs had previously been available in 3D as a bundle with certain Panasonic 3D HDTVS.
The 3D editions of
Ice Age and
Rio will be combo packs featuring Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copies of each film. All three titles have been set with a SRP of $49.99. Whether any new special features have been created for these releases has yet to be determined.
The titles are currently available for pre-order on Best Buy's site and should be up on Amazon shortly.
