The fourth installment of Wes Craven's slasher franchise, Scream 4 has been confirmed by Anchor Bay Entertainment and Dimension Films for an October 4th release. The film brought back mainstays Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette and and also featured newcomers Hayden Panettierre, Emma Roberts, Anthony Anderson, Alison Brie, Adam Brody and Rory Culkin.
Scream 4 takes place around the 15th anniversary of the original massacre seen in the first Scream, and centers on Sidney Prescott, who has returned to North Carolina to promote her new book. While there, another Ghostface emerges and begins to terrorize a new class of victims.
The Blu-ray for Scream 4 will debut as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with a digital copy. 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio has also been listed for this release. Special features will include:
