Amazon's weekly Blu-ray Gold Box deal affects The Prisoner: The Complete Series. The
cult British television show, The Prisoner stars Patrick McGoohan
(Scanners) as Number 6, a top-level spy whose resignation from the world of espionage
has him exiled to a mysterious island.
The Gold Box deal presents the 5-disc set at a 75% markdown from its SRP; all seventeen
episodes of The Prisoner have been restored for 1080p and feature their original
monaural soundtracks.
Through July 9th, Amazon is offering The Prisoner on Blu-ray for
$25.00.
