This September, Image Entertainment will release the horror-comedy Dead Heat on Blu-ray. The film features special effects from Steve Johnson (Blade II) and stars Treat Williams (The Phantom) and Joe Piscopo (Wise Guys) as Detectives Roger Mortis and Doug Bigelow, two cops whose investigation of a zombie crime syndicate hits a stumbling block when Mortis is killed and must rejoin the case as an undead ghoul.
Image has not announced the final technical and supplemental features for the Blu-ray; hopefully, the disc will retain some of the bonus materials from the previous Anchor Bay DVD edition.
