Portlandia Blu-ray (Updated)

This winter, IFC and Video Service Corp. (VSC) will release the sketch comedy series Portlandia on Blu-ray. Created by and starring Fred Armisen (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) & Carrie Brownstein (vocalist/guitarist for Sleater-Kinney), Portlandia casts an absurdist eye on the culture and inhabitants of Portland, Oregon.

The show features such varied guest stars as Kyle MacLachlan (Showgirls), Aubrey Plaza (Funny People), Selma Blair (Hellboy II: The Golden Army), Heather Graham (Boogie Nights), Jason Sudeikis (Going the Distance), Gus Van Sant (director of Good Will Hunting), singer/songwriter Aimee Mann, and Decemberists band members Jenny Conlee & Colin Meloy.

VSC has not announced the technical specifications for the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, though it will feature all six episodes of the series' first season.
