Amazon Blu-ray Sale: Requiem for a Dream (Expired)

Director Darren Aronofsky's graphically realistic look at the perils of drug addiction, Requiem for a Dream stars Jared Leto (Fight Club), Jennifer Connelly (Hulk), Marlon Wayans (Scary Movie), and Ellen Burstyn (The Exorcist), in an Academy Award-nominated performance.
In addition to the documentary and interview footage supplementing the main feature, Lionsgate's Blu-ray features a commentary track from Aronofsky. The director has recently opted out of this practice, allowing films like The Fountain, The Wrestler, and Black Swan to speak for themselves. Aronofsky's participation commenting on Requiem for a Dream is a rare opportunity to hear his full-length dissection of the film's many themes and technical challenges.
