This August, Blue Underground will bring the cult slasher film Torso to Blu-ray. Director Sergio Martino's bloody tale of a murderer terrorizing four young co-eds at their country villa, Torso has had an indelible influence on the modern American horror film since its Italian debut in 1973, counting among its fans filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino (Inglourious Basterds), Eli Roth (Hostel), and Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead).
Blue Underground's Blu-ray of Torso presents the film in its 1.66:1 original aspect ratio with Italian and English DTS-HD Master Audio Mono tracks. The Blu-ray will feature two versions of Torso - the uncensored English version and the Italian director's cut - and a number of special features, including:
