Lionsgate Films will release one of Miramax's most beloved catalog titles on Blu-ray this summer: the crime drama Rounders. Directed by John Dahl (Joyride), Rounders tells the story of a retired poker player (Matt Damon, True Grit) forced to re-enter the game in order to help his best friend (Edward Norton, The 25th Hour) clear a mob debt. The film features an impressive supporting cast including John Turturro (Miller's Crossing), Martin Landau (The X Files: Fight the Future), and John Malkovich (Con Air).
The Lionsgate Blu-ray, which presents the film in its original 2.39:1 aspect ratio with 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, will have all of the same special features as the Miramax Collector's Edition DVD. These include:
