Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Complete Season Three Blu-ray Announced

Warner Home Entertainment has announced the official Canadian street date of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Complete Season Three" on Blu-ray. The third season of the popular animated TV show, which details the intergalactic battle between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, will make its Canadian debut in October.
Little is known about the technical specifications and supplemental features of this four-disc Blu-ray collection, and in fact, there has been some confusion about the episodes' aspect ratio on this new Blu-ray. Early reports list that the picture has been opened up to 1.78:1 - while this framing represents the show's broadcast television aspect ratio, the OAR of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" is 2.39:1, a wider format used for the previous two Blu-ray season sets. Warner has not yet confirmed or denied the inclusion of the 1.78:1 frame on the Blu-ray; check back later for further details.
