Advance Screening of The Lion King 3D to Be Held at D23 Expo

Disney has announced that they will host an advance screening of The Lion King 3D for fans attending their annual D23 Expo. D23 is Disney's official fan club, and the company holds a convention each August at the Anaheim Convention Center complete with screenings, celebrations and merchandise related to all things Disney. The D23 Expo is open to the public and runs August 19-21.
The preview screening of The Lion King in 3D will be held on August 20. Disney recently confirmed that film would return to theaters in 3D on September 16th, with a Blu-ray version following on October 4th.
