Anchor Bay Entertainment has confirmed that they will release the action/horror thriller Super Hybrid on Blu-ray on August 23rd. The straight-to-video film adds the canon of killer car movies such as Maximum Overdrive by featuring a car with a mind of its own and a thirst for blood.
Directed by Eric Valette (One Missed Call), Super Hybrid features appearances by Oded Fehr (The Mummy), Shannon Becker (American Pie Presents Beta House) and Ryan Kennedy (The Invisible).
The Blu-ray will feature Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio, a 1:78:1 aspect ratio, and a making-of featurette entitled, "Under the Hood of Super Hybrid".
