British distributors Eureka Entertainment have revealed that they are preparing a Dual Format Edition of Japanese director Masaki Kobayashi's Harakiri (1962), starring Tatsuya Nakadai (Kagemusha), Akira Ishihama (The Human Condition I: No Greater Love), Shima Iwashita (Ballad of Orin), and Tetsurô Tanba (You Only Live Twice). In 1963, the film won the Jury Special Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. The exact release date, special features, and region coding status for this release are yet to be determined.
