On August 16th, 2011, Paramount and Showtime Entertainment will release Dexter: The Fifth Season on Blu-ray. The fifth season finds its titular serial killer slayer (Michael C. Hall, Gamer) coping with the tragic ramifications of the Season 4 finale while adjusting to two new figures (Jonny Lee Miller, Trainspotting, and Julia Stiles, The Omen) who take on increased importance in his murderous doings.
Paramount has not offered information on the Blu-ray's technical specifications or on its special features yet, so check back for further updates. Amazon, however, has a pre-order listing for Dexter: The Fifth Season and is selling the set for $41.99.
