The Dutch box office hit Winter in Wartime arrives on Blu-ray this summer. An adaptation of Jan Terlouw's popular novel, Winter in Wartime deals with a young man's coming-of-age during the end of World War II. Since its release in 2008, the film has won Best Film by the Young Jury at the Rome Film Festival and was the Netherlands' selection for Best Foreign Film at the 2009 Academy Awards.
Other than the inclusion of a DVD copy of the film, this edition of the film only includes a "Making of" documentary. Sony has also not released the final cover art for the package.
The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack for Winter in Wartime will street on July 26th, 2011. It is available for Amazon pre-order of $41.49.
