The joint Paramount Pictures/Columbia Pictures project stars Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig and Andy Serkis. It is directed by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson produces. Based on the 1923 comic books, "Tintin," the movie combines three adventures: The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham's Treasure.
Jackson's company, Weta Digital, has worked on the film extensively using cutting-edge motion capture technology. It arrives in theaters on December 23rd of this year.
Update: The international trailer for The Adventures of Tintin has just gone live. This new look at the film provides a greater sense of both the scope of action that Spielberg has crafted as well as how integral the relationship between Tintin (Jamie Bell) and Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) is to the central narrative.
