The Killing; Criterion has included a restored edition of Kubrick's
Killer's Kiss, his 1955 film noir long-unavailable on Blu-ray. With this release, only two of the director's narrative features,
Fear and Desire and
The Seafarers, remain unavailable on Blu-ray, and if the transfer of
Murder à la Mod on Criterion's
Blow Out disc is any indication, the A/V for
Killer's Kiss should prove to be of the highest quality.
