Buena Vista Home Entertainment invited journalists from around the country to The Blu-ray Festival in order to convey where Blu-ray is today, and where the Blu-ray Disc Association would like it to be in the future. Asked to represent Blu-ray.com, News Editor Josh Dreuth and Review Editor Ben Williams were sent to Hollywood to cover the two-day event, and over the next few days we will be posting our report.
Before we get started, we'd like to thank Buena Vista for inviting us to the event, all the executives who took the time to speak with us regarding Blu-ray, and all the fellow journalists we had the pleasure of meeting - many for the first time.
