Warner Home Video has announced the Blu-ray release of
Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz for August 23rd. The original Warner Bros. animated movie sends classic Hanna-Barbera characters Tom and Jerry to L. Frank Baum's wonderful world of Oz with Dorothy, her dog Toto and her newfound friends, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow.
The 2-disc release is set to include both a DVD and Digital copy of the original movie. Details about the BD-25 disc's audio specs and special features have yet to be revealed.
