Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is set to bring director Richard J. Lewis' Barney's Version to Blu-ray on June 28th. Based on Canadian author Mordecai Richler 1997 novel of the same name, Lewis' film delves into the memories of Barney Panofsky (Paul Giamatti), an outspoken sixty-five-year old television producer and self-proclaimed hockey fanatic who reflects on his impulsive existence. Giamatti's co-stars include Dustin Hoffman, Rosamund Pike, Minnie Driver, Scott Speedman and Rachelle Lefevre, among others.
The Blu-ray release of Barnery's Version will also feature a filmmakers' audio commentary, three featurettes and a Q&A with Paul Giamatti and author Annette Insdorf.
