Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life Announced for Blu-ray (Update)

French distributors EuropaCorp have announced that they will release on Blu-ray acclaimed director Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life (2011), starring Brad Pitt (Twelve Monkeys, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Sean Penn (Dead Man Walking, The Weight of Water ), and Jessica Chastain (Jolene, Take Shelter). The region coding status for this release is unknown at the moment.
Update: Yesterday, led by Robert De Niro, the jury at the Cannes Film Festival awarded the prestigious Palme d'Or to U.S. director Terrence Malick for his latest film The Tree of Life. French distributors EuropaCorp have also revealed a new street date for the film's highly anticipated Blu-ray release: October 12th.
