Tron: Legacy star Jeff Bridges is auctioning off an original 46.5" x 70.5" Acrylic on Plexiglass painting inspired by the Grid to benefit Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign. In addition to Bridges' original painting, a limited number of signed prints are also being made available to raise funds for the charity. The
online auction is currently scheduled to run through May 14, 2011.
"As the national spokesperson for Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign, Jeff Bridges' commitment to others is exemplary," said Bill Shore, founder and executive director of the hunger non-profit. "This donation is another example of how important the work of ending childhood hunger is to Jeff and one of the many reasons we feel honored to be working with him."

National nonprofit Share Our Strength is actively working to end childhood hunger in America by connecting children with the nutritious food they need to lead healthy, active lives. Through its No Kid Hungry Campaign—a nationwide effort to end childhood hunger in America by 2015—Share Our Strength ensures children in need are enrolled in federal nutrition programs, invests in community organizations fighting hunger, teaches families how to cook healthy, affordable meals, and builds public-private partnerships to end childhood hunger at both the state and city level.
