The 1990 movie version of
Captain America is coming up on Blu-ray in May, just in time for the theatrical release of
Captain America: The First Avenger. The movie will be presented in a director's cut with 30 additional minutes of footage. According to director Albert Pyun, it will be "more character-oriented and less super hero action."
This cut of the movie will also be screened at Fantasia in Montreal and the B Movie Celebration in September.
