Miramax yesterday announced that Mitzi Reaugh has been appointed Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, effective immediately. Reaugh will lead Miramax's business development efforts across the company, including digital initiatives, international opportunities and business extensions. She will report to Steve Schoch, Miramax's CFO.

"We are very pleased to have Mitzi joining our senior leadership team. I had the pleasure of working with her directly on the formation of hulu, and her experience in the digital arena will be invaluable as we move ahead and continue to explore opportunities around the world," said Mike Lang, Miramax's CEO.

Prior to joining Miramax, Reaugh was Senior Vice President of Client Solutions for The Nielsen Company. Previously, Reaugh served for four years with NBC Universal, most recently as General Manager of NBC Digital Health Network and prior to that as Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, where in addition to hulu, she led a number of digital growth initiatives across the company. Reaugh also held positions at McKinsey & Company as well as several Internet companies including Vendare Media. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
