Avatar 3D Blu-ray promotion. Now, if you purchase a qualifying Panasonic 3D Blu-ray player or home theater system between March 1, 2011, and February 29, 2012, you can receive a bonus copy of
Avatar on Blu-ray, exclusively from Panasonic, after mail-in rebate.
Qualifying models include: player models
DMP-BDT310,
DMP-BDT210, DMP-BDT215,
DMP-BDT110 and DMP-BDT115; and home theater system models SC-BTT770, SC-BTT370, SC-BTT270, SC-BTT268 and SC-BTT273.
You must fill out and return a rebate form, along with a copy of your sales receipt of the eligible model with the purchase price circled, as well as the UPC code and serial number cut from the product carton.
To receive the disc, you must have purchased the device between the dates of March 1, 2011 and February 29, 2011.
This new time limit jives with the information from a Panasonic UK representative late last year, confirming that the
Avatar 3D exclusivity period ran until February 2012 (see Blu-ray.com,
December 14, 2010).
