Two of the major Blu-ray related events from the just closed 2011 CES fair took place thanks to 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment: the director's panel discussing the filmmakers' vision of Blu-ray, and the BD announcement of Star Wars: The Complete Saga. The studio has now made available video clips from both events.

Not surprisingly, all three filmmakers were highly appreciative of the Blu-ray format, but Oliver Stone was the most outspoken, encouraging attendants to buy Blu-ray, as he thinks it will be the last physical format and in the future will become a valuable collectible.
Star Wars announcement
The news was announced by Darth Vader itself who took over the Panasonic booth along with an escort of Stormtroopers. Mike Dunn, president of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, could barely keep a straight face.
