Avatar: Extended Collector's Edition was the top-selling title on Blu-ray during the week ended November 21, narrowly outselling
A Christmas Carol. In overall packaged media, the places were reversed. The special edition re-release of James Cameron's epic got 50% of its sales from the Blu-ray version, a record for a day-and-date BD release without a bundled DVD copy.
