Warner Home Video has reduced the suggested retail price of two major Blu-ray titles from its catalog:
Gone with the Wind: Scarlett Edition and
The Wizard of Oz : 3-Disc Emerald Edition. MSRP, initially $49.99, is now only $35.99. Actual pricing will vary according to the discount applied by individual retailers.
At the time of writing, for example,
Gone with the Wind: Scarlett Edition is $22.49 at Amazon, which is historically the lowest it has been.
Both editions consist of three discs: one Blu-ray for the feature movie, one Blu-ray for the special features and a double-sided DVD including the six-hour documentary
When the Lion Roars on the history of MGM. However, they don't include soundtrack CDs, or any memorabilia found on the respective Ultimate Collector's Editions.
