Oscilloscope Pictures has announced Howl for Blu-ray release on January 4, 2011, in a BD/DVD combo edition. This experimental film, exploring the figure of Beat Generation poet Allen Ginsberg (played by James Franco), premiered at Sundance Film Festival and had a limited theatrical release in September.
