The Blu-ray.com team is happy to announce another site upgrade. The following
features have been added:
Collection Matcher
The Collection Matcher matches your collection against all other members' collections
and displays the members whose collections are the most similar to yours. The idea is to
find members with similar taste as yourself, for discussion and to help you find movies
you haven't seen but which might suit your taste. If you don't think a title in your collection is representative for your taste, you can exclude it from the Collection Matcher.
Recommendations
The Recommendations feature uses your collection to analyze your movie taste and
then tries to find titles you don't have in your collection that are likely to suit your taste. You can use a Filter to specify what genre(s) you would like recommendations
for. This is the first version of the Recommendations feature and it will be upgraded
continuously to provide better recommendations. If you don't think a title in your
collection is representative of your taste, you can exclude the titles from being counted as your taste.
Collection statistics
A statistics/summary page about your collection has been added to the collection menu.
Collection search
The collection search has been upgraded to support more filtering and sorting.
Collection count
You can now see how many members have a specific title in their collection on each
movie page.
As usual you can also browse other members' collections and check out their titles,
recommendations, member matches, statistics, search etc.
Please notice that all those features require that you are logged in and the
recommendations- and collection matcher require that you have at least 20 titles in
your collection to work.
