On November 29, Arrow Films will release the Japanese cult film
Battle Royale, directed by Kinji Fukasaku. It will initially come in a three-disc edition, limited to 5,000 copies; a special edition will follow later. Both the theatrical cut and the director's cut of the movie will be included, from brand-new restorations.
Although this film has received a 3D conversion for theatrical re-release, there is no word of a 3D BD at this time.
The limited edition will include exclusive special features that are still pending confirmation.
