HiHD Interviews Director David Mallet

HiHD sat down with director David Mallet to discuss how he feels about Blu-ray. David is a highly acclaimed music video director who has worked with such greats as Queen, David Bowie, and The Rolling Stones. His film 'David Gilmour: Remember that Night' is set to hit Blu-ray on October 30th.

When asked about what technical aspect of Blu-ray he found most advantageous, he said, "You can have quite high contrast ratios, which has been a previous failing of the video systems. You can work at very low light level and then you can, what's called “push” the stop much harder than you can standard definition."
