On November 16, Kino Video will release a Buster Keaton double feature, comprised of Sherlock Jr (1924) -about a theater projectionist turned amateur sleuth- and Three Ages (1923) - a slapstick parody of D.W.Griffith's Intolerance. Each will be presented with three different music tracks.

Sherlock Jr. will include music by The Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra in 5.1 DTS and 2.0; music by The Club Foot Orchestra; and a vintage jazz score compiled by Jay Ward.

Three Ages will come with music arranged and directed by Robert Israel in 2.0; an organ score by Lee Erwin; and a piano score.

Special features include:

Sherlock Jr.:
  • Audio commentary by historian David Kalat
  • Fifteen-minute documentary on the making of the film
  • Stills gallery
Three Ages:
  • Man's Genesis (1912): A nine-minute excerpt of the D.W. Griffith prehistoric romance that inspired Keaton's parody
  • Visual essay on the film's locations by Silent Echoes author John Bengston
  • Three Ages re-cut as a trio of stand alone short films
