Toshiba Announces 3D Blu-ray Player (Update)

Toshiba has announced its first 3D-compatible Blu-ray player, model BDX3100KE. This player supports the HDMI 1.4 specification, and decodes all advanced audio codecs. Other details will be revealed later. Official price has been set at an inexpensive 199 euros. The Japanese CE manufacturer will also be showing 3D LCD TVs from its Series WL768, as well as its "Cell TV."

However, the brand's rumored glasses-less 3D system was not in display.
