Eight Exclusive Lionsgate Blu-ray Titles at Best Buy This Sunday (Update 2)

Best Buy is going full steam ahead with Blu-ray exclusivity deals. The latest addition is a wave of catalog titles from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, slated for general release on October 5, but which are available on BB shelves from August 29: 2001 Maniacs, Bad Lieutenant, The Blair Witch Project, Hard Candy, High Tension, Open Water / Open Water 2: Adrift, Secretary, and Wonderland.

According to BB's website updated early Sunday morning, four of those titles (2001 Maniacs, High Tension, Open Water / Open Water 2: Adrift, and Wonderland) go for a very low $7.99. The other four are priced at $9.99.

Also available are Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy ($19.99), Deep Blue Sea ($12.99) and The Score ($14.99).

Today, Blu-ray enthusiasts definitely have a good reason to get up early and be at the gates of their nearest Best Buy first thing in the morning.

Update: the official release date of all the above titles has changed to August 31 on the Best Buy website, and numerous stores are saying those titles cannot be sold until Tuesday.
