Sources from Warner Home Video have revealed to The Digital Bits that the studio is currently preparing Stanley Kubrick's
Lolita and
Barry Lyndon for Blu-ray release in 2011. They will probably be released both separately and also as part of a new Stanley Kubrick Blu-ray Collection box set.
Back in 2007, WHV had released five Kubrick movies on Blu-ray (
2001: A Space Odyssey,
A Clockwork Orange,
The Shining,
Full Metal Jacket and
Eyes Wide Shut), but not
Lolita or
Barry Lyndon, despite having the rights to those as well.
