Samsung is putting three new Blu-ray players on the market, under model numbers
BD-C5900,
BD-C6800 and
BD-C7900, competitively priced at MSRPs ranging from $229.99 to $399.99. Availability dates have not been announced. Like the
BD-C6900, announced early this year, all three will be compatible with the Blu-ray 3D specification.
The BD-C5900 supports Internet@TV, Samsung's AllShare and Anynet+ and is Wireless LAN Ready (with optional adaptor). Customizable widgets give access to Blockbuster, YouTube, Flickr, "and more." It has an MSRP of $229.99. It already shows up as in stock on Amazon.
The BD-6800 adds 1GB of local storage and carries a list price of $279.99. Thus, it has all the features of the BD-C6900, at a lower price.
The BD-C7900 sports dual HDMI outputs, and has an MSRP of $399.99.
