Park Circus has announced the "deliriously romantic and contemporary" 1951 movie
Pandora and the Flying Dutchman, by maverick filmmaker Albert Lewin, for release on Blu-ray on August 9, in a BD/DVD dual-format 2-disc edition. Working from a nitrate separation positive and other sources, George Eastman House has supervised a painstaking 35mm restoration of the film, bringing back the rich palette of deep, sensuous Technicolor hues utilized by renowned cinematographer Jack Cardiff.
