Blockbuster Inc. has announced the exclusive release of the movie The Greatest, which is now available in its stores and by mail. It will be available at other retailers on July 13. The first feature film from writer and director Shana Feste, The Greatest received its world premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
"We're pleased to bring The Greatest exclusively to Blockbuster customers for the first 30 days after its release. Our goal is to provide our customers hot new movies as soon as they are released, whether they are shopping in a participating store or at a Blockbuster Express vending kiosk, members of our by mail service, or browsing through our expansive On Demand library while they are sitting in their living room with their Blockbuster connected device," said Joyce Woodward, Blockbuster SVP, Film. "In addition to The Greatest, our customers can enjoy immediate availability of other popular films from the major studios," Woodward said.
