Yamaha Announces 2D Blu-ray Player, 3D Receiver

Yamaha has announced a new Blu-ray Disc player, model BD-S667. It supports BonusView and BD-Live. It is also compatible with Netflix streaming, and includes DLNA client certification. However, unlike many players announced this year, it doesn't support the Blu-ray 3D specifications. It will carry a list price of $329.95, and availability is set for the month of July. Yamaha also announced an AV receiver, model RX-V667 - which will be 3D-compatible.
