Anchor Bay Entertainment has officially announced the 1981 horror movie
The Evil Dead for Blu-ray release on August 31, in a brand-new hi-def transfer, supervised and approved by director Sam Raimi, and featuring an all-new audio commentary with Raimi, Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell.
Other special features include behind-the-scenes footage and outtakes, talent bios, and a poster and stills gallery.
